Racing Update
The flat season is here and the summer jumpers are in full flow. There are two new jumping recruits who will take us to summer jumping tracks in 2026. Dramatic License and Assorda are here and are ready for a campaign. Flat horses among the new faces are Truly Special and Spartling, both coming from David O’Meara’s stable. Kalikapour has arrived from Seb Spencer and It will be interesting to get to know our new horses and enjoy their progress.
Among the old friends we have Eeetee, Dandy’s Angel, Elettaria, Ninety Nine and Crafty Spirit ready to do battle for us this year. Our old stable star Biplane is now retired. She was a wonderful horse and we will miss her greatly.
Last year Crafty Spirit was owned in partnership and at the end of the season the partnership was disolved and shares became available. It is now wholly owned by Caballo Racing and the syndicate would welcome interest from potential new members. If you are interested ring Philip Walker whose contact details are at the end of this site.
Yard update
We have been investing in the fabric of the yard over the winter with new roofs on stables along with maintenance of the walker. The lane to the yard has less potholes than the council’s road and we like to keep the yard in good shape to welcome visitors.
Caballo Racing members came for their spring visit to see their horses and enjoyed a nice social morning in the sun. It’s been cold in North Yorkshire this year and it was nice to be able to welcome guests when the yard was looking at it’s best in the sun.
For further details contact us below.
Caballo Racing is a syndicate that runs Ninety Nine, Elettaria and Crafty Spirit, The syndicate does not advertise membership but invite friends of the yard to join in the ownership experience. The syndicate is fully complete in two horses but has shares available in Crafty Spirit, a 4 year old gelding who we expect to have a very good 2026. Anyone interested should contact Philip Walker whose contact details are below..
